Mental wellness for teen dancers,
created by a dancer and therapist.
Meet Auti
Auti Kamal Scolman is a lifelong competitive dancer, award-winning choreographer, and therapist dedicated to transforming the mental wellness of elite dancers. With a B.A. in Dance from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Sofia University, Auti brings a rare and powerful combination of lived-experience, professional dance expertise, and clinical training to her work.
A passionate educator, Auti built a global audience of over half a million dancers through her popular YouTube channel, where she has empowered beginners with accessible, high-quality dance instruction. Her deep roots in the dance community, combined with her own journey through anxiety, depression, and chronic stress, uniquely position her to understand the high-pressure world dancers live in- and to meet them where they are.
Auti is not only a clinician who practices evidence-based therapeutic modalities- she’s someone who has lived the challenges dancers face. Her warmth, compassion, humor, and clinical excellence make her the ideal coach for dancers seeking resilience, emotional balance, and lasting mental wellness. Through this course, she merges her two worlds to offer dancers the tools to thrive both on and off stage.
